Hello from Qwanoes! Welcome to this year’s Kaléo program blog. We are so excited for all that the Lord has is in store for all our students this year!
This is a great place to get the latest on what the students have been up to and what's happening in the Kaléo Program!

Last week I watched a show on Sasquatches. I found out that the place that has the most sasquatch spotting's in the world is Vancouver island more specifically right near Camp Qwanoes.
Hah If i could like that comment I would. Well played my friend, well played. But seriously. If none of the other Kaleo members that went before us saw a sasquatch that makes our chances better right?
Haha don't worry guys, living here on the west coast determines my stature as an expert sasquatch spotter, therefore with the hammock, we're all set. We will need to go through some basic training with the amateurs though before we are able to do any sort of sasquatch spotting.
Seeing as I'm already at Qwanoes I'll keep my eyes out for anything suspicious. Any suggestions as to proper protocol if I come across anything? Michael, you watched the show...any tips?
Question - having spent that last four years in Saskatchewan for school, do I in any way have an advantage in spotting sasquatches? (They sound similar phonetically)
Having lived at Qwanoes for the past 12 years, I must say that I have significant experience with Sasq (having a personal experience I feel I can abbreviate it here) spotting. I have found that it is very helpful to use a tracking dog...if you need to borrow my dog Tucker sometime, just let me know.
I appreciate the teem spirit and you willingness to provide us with the use of your trusty hunting hound Ben, It will be good to have a veteran helping us
You could also try breeding exotic animals such as ligers and jackalope, because then you would have a special bond with them since they were there when they were born and stuff. It also helps when you're the one that feeds them.

I think so my research in Sasquatch spotting lore is slim at best
As is mine. I guess we have a few months to refresh on tricks of tracking Sasquatches. Those sasquatches will never know what hit them.
for shure man....maybe we can get Nancy to make a sasquatch hammock trap

Lets start small. Perhaps Cougar hunting (which have actually been spotted around camp from time to time), and work our way up to the Sasquatch
Im thinking if someone goes missing at least we know what got them.
Come on Andrew. Go big or go home! We're gonna see a Sasquatch. It'll happen.
not just that we are going to catch one.....in a hammock...trap...thing...Nancy we need to talk logistics

Yes, we need to go BIG or go home!! It's only a sasquatch.. how hard can it be to catch?!

Okay, but we have to sure that our traps are humane guys, we want the Sasquatch to like us! We'll entice him to be our friend.
hmm good call but that is very difficult I tried it once with a Jackalope and I ended up taking an antler to the chest
you should try a liger, because they're bred for their skills in magic (stated by Napoleon Dynamite) , it's nearly impossible to catch them.
